Blackpool, UK

Blackpool, UK
Blackpool, UK

Whenever we told anyone we were planning to visit Blackpool, people warned us that it was not a good idea. My British colleagues felt that it was not safe. Or at least that is what I thought they felt. In the above picture can you really see anything wrong with the place? Well I could not. I told a few of my colleagues that you can’t scare people from New Delhi and thereabout from visiting Blackpool.

So a bunch of us visited Blackpool. We had given ourselves very little time so I saw almost nothing beyond this pier area. But I was content, there was water and a sunset approaching and that is enough for me.

But the teasing didn’t stop me even after we reached India. OK, people looked a little more fond of beer in this part but other than that I still hold the same opinion, you can’t scare people coming from New Delhi and thereabout from visiting Blackpool.
