Beautiful Birds

Posted on October 28, 2009

Brahminy Myna at Orchha, Madhya Pradesh

I have to admit that my love affair with birds started after I acquired a macro lens (Bart 1 bought it for me) and was able to see them up close.
I have also been aided in this by my Which Bird is This thread at Indiamike.

Welcome to the bandwagon of bird photographers Mridula :-)…BTW, which lens do you have? Me suggests you invest in a good telephoto upto 800mm. Will go a long way considering your love for photography!!Sankarawww.beontheroad.com

One more comment from me…BTW…you will find most of the Brahminy species in couples…some of them make sense…but most of the ones I have seen seem to be in pairs!A great shot nonetheless of these pretty, yet somewhat rare bird.

Yup. To pursue photography seriously, those macros are much needed. I believe one already has food and is guiding the other to find its 😛
