Asian Koel

Today’s bird round in the neighborhood yielded a Koel. And a conversation with a person who was out with his buffalo herd. He asked, “What are you clicking?” I said the birds. So he replied but you were pointing the camera to the ground for a long time. I said, “Oh those were butterflies.” His herd had dogs too. So I was walking at some distance. And hence I stumbled upon this Neem tree with Koel. Got to know because of the sweet voice it has. Showed him the picture too and he said it was nice. All this conversation was happening in Hindi of course. In the field there was a woman with four men loading wheat, I guess, on their tractor. The woman called out, click my tractor. I said I will but you come and pose as well. At that she ran away. And by the way if you search for Koel or Koyal at Google you get a lot of pictures of pretty girls. Looks like a popular name.
