Blue Skies at Alwar, Rajasthan

Blue Skies from Alwar, Rajasthan

Posted on February 8, 2013May 20, 2021

I visited Alwar, a small town in Rajasthan, India in January. I saw these arches on my way to Siliserh Lake. There is no indication anywhere what they were but they sure look beautiful!

A little ahead there are more such arches and they look like a bridge but they certainly don’t seem to be in use. We stopped our taxi at the side of the narrow road to get a picture!

This post is part of Sky Watch Friday. Check them out!

nice capture.. it must be an old road which is now not used.. usually happens when there is a newer bridge built elsewhere….

It looks like a Roman aquaduct.
