Will You Cancel Your Holidays to India? It is a very logical question to ask and it has also been asked on Indiamike. The responses are so heartening. I know it is a very small database of potential tourists but it is still something. Below I am quoting one response by member Goanmad-
Cancelling? No way!
We’re flying on to Mumbai on Tuesday 2nd December and spending 5 weeks in India.
Having grown up in Birmingham during the 1970’s we were constantly under the shadow of IRA terrorism and had no choice but to live our lives as normally as possible.
I like that resilience and thats what we need in the face of terrorism… we should not bow down… Enjoy your tour…
The situation is disheartening. But I agree with Sriram. And I continue to send good energy out to the world. My thoughts are with the ones who suffer!
Good question. But that’s just what terrorist are trying to do to us…terrorize us, try to control what we do. I applaud those that don’t let these events stop them.
Cheers !Enjoy the tour.
I just saw a report on BBC where the foreign tourists who were hostages said they would come back..
Thanks all, for a while I really do not feel like blogging but given the spirit of people, why not? So I will start blogging about travel again.
