I saw these rafts in the middle of the market near Laxman Jhula at Rishikesh. I was quite tempted to try out rafting but with Chhavi the logistics didn’t work out. But I am sure there is going to be a next time. What I have noticed is that all along the way camps have come up on the banks of Ganga and rafting seems to be very popular now. What really prompted me to click the picture was the cow standing near the rafts!
have heard so much abt rafting here – sharaths been there twice and am hoping I will go stime
I am sure there will be another time! when i last went there, rafts were unheard of! since then have heard so much about them, but havent been able to go at all 🙂 of course, given the choice, i would rather take photos of shankar and samhith on one rather than go on one myself 🙂
It would have been even more interesting if the cow was placed above the rafts 😛
really I am missing rafting too….have done only once…but still long way back…
Rapids in Rishikesh are believed to be among the best!
There is always a next time 🙂
It appears like a canopy for the jeep,
Me back after a break….
Rafting is another pending item on my list…
Lakshmi next time I am also going to be on a lookout.
Anu and Seshadri refuses to go anywhere near them and Chhavi is for sure underage, so they will have to click my picture instead. 😀
Tarun you have done rafting! How was it? And that cow idea is something!
Thanks Meena, I hope so.
Chitra waiting for your posts.
Shrinidhi on mine too!
I have done it in 2008…:) it was fun..but in my time ganges was in full swing
