Purple Sunbird in Flight

Purple Sunbird in Flight

It is very rare for me to get a complete bird in flight. I often manage to chop off the wings, blur it or do something or the other so that I eventually have to delete that picture. I got it somewhat right this time may be because Purple Sunbird is a very small bird. I almost always find on on this bottle brush tree. Can’t wait for the time when the Purple Sunbirds turn completely purple.

    Siddhartha this was at 300mm.

Tarun will go out again for a practice session. 😀

Celine around March April if I remember it correctly.

Chitra no they look similar but are different I believe. And I am told humming birds are not found in India.

Ramesh 😀 You will learn almost nothing if I taught you. I myself know very little. 🙁
