Weaver Bird
Weaver Bird

I was walking to the ATM in my college campus and a bonanza I had! I remember he other day I was walking that way and just had a glimpse of the bird and two of us were saying they look like sparrows!

I have seen the nests of the Weaver bird before but not a green one. I have mostly come across the dried ones.

Beautiful pics…Ive seen the baya weaver bird building its nest as well..I was told by my naturalist friend that a female weaver bird mates only after seeing the nest built by the male..if the female rejects the nest and the bird , the male abandons the nest and goes on to build another nest

Gosh, you meet birds in the most unlikely of places 😉 Quite crafty, those weaver birds!
