I am once again falling back on my Everest Base Camp Trek pictures for the Skywatch. This was a little later after sunrise. The sun became strong within no time! In the region the sun rises over all the lofty mountains like the Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse etc.
And in the evening when the light should have been on the mighty peaks the clouds would rule! Still, I so like the trek and those days!

Even though I did see a rainbow this week I didn’t had the patience to hold it for the skywatch. So for the Sky Watch I once again fall back on the Everest Base Camp pictures from Nepal. And I am already getting very restless for the next trip which unfortunately I have not planned.
Share your sky pictures on the Sky Watch page and have fun browsing through the collection.
I am yearning for such places again. This was an early early morning shot at Tengboche. The monastery at Tengboche is awe inspiring. I wonder how they managed to construct it at such a height!
I decided to put all the links to my day by day account of the Everest Base Camp Trek in one post. It is easy to access them from here and easy to point it out to anyone who is interested in reading it all!
Many thanks to all of you who read my accounts and a little more to those who shared their thoughts in the comment section or in person. This has been a journey of a life time! I had so many doubts in the beginning but in the end I was able to haul myself all the way up their and get down too! They say in the mountains, it is the mountain that decides whether you can complete a trek or not. I am glad they decided in my favor this time. So here are the links to the detailed day by day account of the Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal.
