A photo feature of my Malaysia Tourism Hunt 2012 shots is now up on the Rediff Getahead. I am also at the end of my Malaysia pictures. So it is almost time to travel again. Let us see when and where. Nothing fixed as of now.
I wanted to share with you two mentions that happened on Sunday and today for Travel Tales from India and me. The first one appeared in Times of India which I have seen online. It was about tea house treks and homestays. Some of my friends and family called me to say they read the article! Do check it out.
The second feature is on Rediff Getahead on Valley of Flowers and Hemkunt Sahib at Uttarakhand. A good start to the week I must say!
I have to admit I do not go out seeking adventure apart from trekking but when it comes my way I thoroughly enjoy it. So when the good people from Rediff contacted me to talk about Adventure spots in India I did exchange a few emails. That story on Adventure Travel is up now at the Rediff site. Give it a look-
“The region is so vast that I don’t think I will be able to exhaust it in one lifetime. I feel lucky that I have seen parts of it.”
The ropeway picture I have clicked, whereas all of us in the raft, the picture was clicked by Vikram, our raft expert from Rimo Expeditions, shown above.
I started my India travel blog, Travel Tales from India in 2005. In 2016 I realized Travel Tales from India and Abroad better reflected my writings. I love to walk and ride in metros around the world. I have not been everywhere, I am not even close, but it is on my list. I also quit my job as a professor in 2015, it was a happening year! I did a Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur ages ago!
