This Asian Koel decided to play hide and seek with me yesterday. I heard her first. I stopped in my tracks and saw parts of her (worse than this picture) and I clicked a few. I decided it is not worth it. As soon as I started walking ahead it called again. Then came a few crows and started chasing it. I wonder what is it between crows and Koels, they often seem to be found in the same vicinity and at loggerheads.
After a while the Koel settled and started calling again. I took 3-4 more pictures and this is the best of the lot. So first round goes to the Koel of the hide and seek.
