Red Vented Bulbul in the Backyard

Posted on January 1, 2010

Red Vented Bulbul in a Tree Filled with Yellow Berries

I clicked this picture today near my place. I didn’t want to just grade the copies on the first day of 2010. Now I hope, I will click bird pictures throughout the year!
I was reading on the net that if you have a 300mm lens then the trick is to try and creep a little closer to the bird. I did just that for the shot above and I am pretty pleased.
And don’t you dare laugh at me for that extra line on the picture. What? You are not listening to me? Then go ahead and laugh.

beautiful frame mridula … ur bird pics are getting better … day by day! keep going :)and yeah … i didnt laugh, but felt bad – coz of some copy cats, such a beautiful pic has to be marred with un-necessary text! i wud suggest that the 'no not reproduce without permission' text may be placed in one corner, as u already have the copyright thingie at places which cannot be cropped 🙂
