On my own I would not have walked in. I was not sure if walking in a cemetery would be disrespectful. But then a few days back I had seen a post by Rocksea and Sarah about cemeteries from around the world. So I thought I would go inside.
The Final Destination
I have to admit that I felt a little strange inside the cemetery. I was the only person around and at the gate there was a girl inside what looked like an office. I stopped for a while, was not sure if I should click pictures (but then remembered the Rocksea and Sarah post again). Then I got out.
… in the days when my husband, John, and I, traveled on the road as musicians, we would frequently find ourselves in some city where the only place we could find peace, and a bit of greenery, was often the town cemetery.
Now if I had seen this post before maybe I would not have been so scared of being disrespectful, because that is the last thing I would like to come across.
