Dawn at Durban, South Africa

Dawn at Durban

Posted on June 21, 2013May 13, 2021

I had a sea facing room at Durban and the sunrise used to happen from the sea. This was the fabulous dawn one day at Durban. And i would wake up at dawn because of the 3.5 hours difference between India and South Africa.

This is a hand held photograph from a 75-300 lens. Not the best way to handle such low light but as I forgot the tripod at home I could do no better. I wonder what is it about sea and mountains that I like it so! The first day at Durban was all grey and gloomy and dull but once the weather cleared we were treated to some golden feasts.
