Colorful Flags

Colorful Flags and a Blue Sky

Posted on January 10, 2014May 8, 2021

All my travel plans are in a flux. I was supposed to travel to Thailand (with Tourism Authority of Thailand, would have been my second trip too) this Sunday but that trip was put on hold yesterday. So I cooked up new plans in a jiffy. All the flights closer to the date are now quite expensive. So I have settled for Gujarat, I hope my early morning flight will take off, that Delhi fog will behave itself! The least expensive flight was to Ahmedabad so I will explore further from there. But time to move back to the sky watch.

On the local front I have been on vacation for the past one week and I have one more week of vacation. I can’t remember when I stayed at home for one full week! It was good fun actually. We had guests from Jagatsukh, but there was a appointment with the doctor for my husband. All is settling well now and I am looking forward to one week of travel next.

Chhavi and I in the meanwhile did 4 local trips- twice to Dilli Haat, once to Hauz Khas and once to Chandni Chowk and Red Fort. This picture was clicked at Dilli Haat. It is always a colorful place but it wears a particularly festive look right now. On the Huaz Khas trip we were two adults and 3 kids! That was some trip and coordinating the metro cards for the kids was one big adventure!

PS. This post is part of Sky Watch Friday. It is an awesome theme.
