When was the last time you did something for the first time? Cliff Jumping!

Cliff Jumping
Cliff Jumping on the Way from Devprayag to Kaudiala

That is me going down a cliff while we took a break from rafting. We started at Devprayag and were trying to reach Kaudiala. On the way we were offered an opportunity to jump off a cliff and there I am! Have to say throughly enjoyed the experience. Have also to admit when I was standing at the edge I for sure was wondering, “who asked me to do this?” And then a gentle nudge from Gunpal, the expert (first person standing on the cliff from the front) and I was on my way!

So I did something for the first time in my life this week itself! Cliff jumping was fun. And many thanks to the young lady who clicked this picture.

Wow, you’re one brave lady…….I’m scared to do this, since I jumped of the prow of a cargo ship and nearly dislocated my shoulder (when I was 15).

Doli, not that scary as I have jumped in a swimming pool a lot but yes a little scary for sure.

Derek, I understand, I too would be scared if I got hurt.

Pooja, I do swim. But I was still a little scared.

    Fida 😀 😀 😀 I agree.

Sandeep it indeed was an amazing experience. And of course the picture credit goes to a young lady who clicked and then passed it on to me.

Appu people say it was more than 20 feet, somewhere between 20-30 but it sure did feel high!

Kunal go ahead! The area is near Devprayag and the agency was Rimo Expeditions.

Chitra, I understand, I too do this I guess in a bout of madness.

PVC Profiles, I can assure you, you would not faint. There were people who stood at the edge and went back without jumping but around 40 people jumped!

Abhilash even I did not think I was this adventurous, after all my day job is teaching! I hope you go ahead and do it. I think I too will attempt it again as and when I get another chance.
