The Brat: See you use Android, so go to Play Store and download the app you wish to use. I use iPhone so I have a different destination.
The Sage: So what do you think? I am some ancient fossil? After all for all my extensive travels, I do use the weather app. And I know what the Google Play Store is. I have already downloaded the app.
The Brat: Heaven forbid, you actually manage to download the app on your own without howling for help? It must be one easy app to install!
The Sage: Young one, it will help to leave your sarcasm …
The Brat: (Mutters under his breath) It will help whom? (Says loudly) Anyway if by some miracle even you managed to download the app what are you frowning about?
The Sage: I can’t login using Facebook.
The Brat: Why if you can download the app, you can surely login using FB, come on it is easier than that.
The Sage: There was no problem in pressing the button that said login using Facebook. But it then tells me “can’t access your email using Facebook.”
The Brat: You must have set your email on FB as private …
The Sage: I set everything on Facebook that I can, as private. Only my travel related updates are public!
The Brat: So go ahead and create an account instead.
The Sage: OK let us do it together.
Silence reigns in the room for two minutes while the Sage concentrates on the smartphone screen.
The Sage: Wait why do I even need to create an account when I can use it anyway. See I can book flights, check out weekend destinations, book even trains and buses without an account.
The Brat: Excellent, but don’t come back to me later saying you need the account to access some feature.
The Sage: Youngsters these days! Wait let me make that account, actually it is easy. All it needs is my email, phone number, name and then me setting a password.
The Brat: Technology is always easy, it is you who imagine it to be complicated. Congratulations now you can access your trips from anywhere.
The Sage: Thank you so much for your help and sarcasm, I am now ready to plan my next trip using just my mobile.
The Brat: Good luck and I am off! Please call their customer support if you need any help. It is easy using the app.
The last line was said while he was already half out of the door. The Sage was for once oblivious, busy exploring the different features of the new app.
