Butterfly on Peacock Flowers

Lazy Sunday Photo- Utterflies Butterflies on Peacock Flowers

Posted on October 3, 2010February 16, 2022

Chhavi went to sleep in the afternoon today (actually she takes a nap everyday) and I decided to walk out to see what all is fluttering outside. I was not even out of my gate before I saw a Kingfisher flying away. I ran for my camera and came out. The Kingfisher pictures actually didn’t came out that well.

But where I keep the bird feed and water I have seen a lot many butterflies coming and going but not settling down at all. Outside in the small park there is a shrub full of orange flowers (I now know the name they are called peacock flowers). I decided to go there and wait for the birds and the butterflies. I am not at all disappointed with the results. Now every day of my vacation, I am going to go out when Chhavi takes a nap and see what I get to click.

Thanks Fida I think this was my beginner’s luck, I have been going back to the same spot for the past 2 days but the first day pictures have been the best so far.
