I joined Instagram quite late primarily because I started using smartphones quite late. I clearly remember I was in Finland with the (then) Nokia for their Lumia 1020 Promotion. My friends from Nokia actually created the Instagram account for me! But I am hooked now. So these are my top ten Instagram posts for 2015 by the number of likes.
10. Kerala Backwaters, India
As I am new to Instagram I have been posting pictures from all my trips and not just those that were taken in 2015. This was from a trip to Kerala backwaters in 2013.

I went to Radisson for lunch at their Thai Restaurant Neung Roi but I found a lot of Christmas Cheer too!
8. Sunset at Cavelossim Beach, Goa
I was supposed to be in Rishikesh for a family vacation. Chhavi and Seshadri are there. But I got a lot of cold, so I stayed back, they went. And in the end the family vacation count is still stuck at lousy one for 2015! Goa was the only family vacation we managed this year!
7. Homegrown Sunset!

Homegrown sunsets can be nice too! I thought I would watch more sunsets if I quit my job. It has not happened till now!
6. Beautiful Batal, Lahaul and Spiti
Spiti will always remain special for me! This was Batal, I will always carry a bit of it in my soul.

4. Pheriche, Everest Base Camp Trek, Nepal
Everest Base Cap trek in Nepal has been my trip of a lifetime. It was so difficult, it was so beautiful! Pheriche was amazing, also because it was easier to breathe there

As far as the beaches go Maldives it the most beautiful place I have visited. And it can be done on a budget.
2. Green Field, White Field, Uttarakhand
This is Talhauti in Uttarakhand. We went to sleep in a green field and woke up in a white one!
1. Stilt Fishing, Sri Lanka
A stilt fisherman in Sri Lanka, it is extremely touristy though.

The most liked photo of 2015 on Instagram is the Stilt Fishing from Koggala, Sri Lanka. It is beautiful to watch but it is quite touristy too!
