It is time to post some bird pictures again. I love clicking birds but I am not very good at it. So here are some recent clicks.
I was standing on the balcony of the Siliserh Lake Palace (a RTDC run Hotel) when I saw this cormorant flapping away. Luckily I had the zoom lens on the camera and I clicked the picture.
A Kingfisher in Flight, Siliserh Lake, Alwar
This Kingfisher with its fish was a similar story. I was standing in the balcony and out of nowhere (OK actually must have been hiding on the trees near the lake) came this kingfisher when I had the zoom lens on my camera and I clicked without thinking much!
Green Bee Eating Birds
This was yesterday morning in front of my home! I had barely opened my eyes when I saw a bird on the tree. I thought it was sitting on a nest or something. I ran to get my camera, change the lens and then go out to click. The green bee eating birds were patient. They waited for me. The trouble was that the sun was at the wrong place and I could get only this faded shot from a good angle. And it was only when I got out I realized that there were five birds sitting together and not one sitting on a nest!
Green Bee Eating Birds in a Group
This was really a patient group of birds as I was able to go to the balcony and then click them again where they looked more colorful but I could not catch all five of them clearly. What to do, such is life. Also I was getting late to go to work so I was happy with this shot and gave up!
Such delightful shots! Love the group of bee eaters.
Clicking the birds is the most interesting yet most challenging isn’t it. They usually keep moving. Loved the last picture very much.
Last two Green Bee Eater images and I am thinking the better one and will say:
Second last image of Green Bee Eater I like the most. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome shots, loved the last pic…:)
Green bee birds look just-born!
The first and last shot are excellent.
