Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside- A Beautiful Hotel

When I visited Malaysia for the Malaysia Tourism Hunt 2012 my first stop was Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside. Before leaving someone who knows Malaysia asked me where was I staying and when I said Putrajaya they were suitably impressed. I now understand why. It is a really beautiful hotel and has an equally beautiful location.

True to my form I arrived at the hotel without sleeping a wink in the flight as I was watching back to back movies. After the check in I decided to crash, I wanted to sleep till lunch. When I entered the room I liked what I saw.

These days I click a hotel room as soon as I enter it, after all it is not going to look the same once I have put my signature over it! At the check in I was told that my room mate was from Taiwan and she would arrive later some time.

We used to eat at the buffet called B’s and they had a wide selection which always included vegetarian food. And their sweet dish table was lavish too.

The hotel looked pretty huge and when I was trying to find my room I was promptly lost! While walking clueless I found another couple who looked equally bewildered and I asked thme, “Are you lost too?” They laughed and said yes. At least I was not alone. Then came a hotel employee and he asked me if I was lost? When I said yes, he escorted me to my room, making sure I would no longer roam around in the corridors like a zombie!

If you walk behind B’s (but ask for directions to be sure, my direction giving capacity is like my sense of direction) you would reach the lakeside. And it is a beautiful spot.

I spent quite sometime walking around the lakeside. It is a popular spot with the locals too. On my return from other parts of Malaysia I stayed at Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside again. Only this time I was sharing a suit with another lady. The suit was out of this world! It had a Jacuzzi and view of the lakeside to admire! Overall Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside is a beautiful hotel and I had a very comfortable stay there.
