These are the cottages at the Sea Shell Resort at Havelock. The rooms are air conditioned and it was definitely needed in October. I found the rooms comfortable and it has TV as well, which I hardly watched. Can you see how many coconut trees the resort has? No wonder, at lunch they would put coconut water in a container so that you could have it with your meal! I liked that. The only peculiar thing about the place was that there is no hot water. We were told that there is a ban onย geysersย on the island. The weather was quite hot and I was OK with a cold shower. If you absolutely need hot water they can give it in a bucket at an extra charge.
This was the bar at the resort. I did not go to the bar though. The blue that you see in the background through the hut is the ocean. It was that close to the resort. There were deck chairs and all near the sea. I have not clicked any pictures of the room. Now that the premises were so beautiful who needed to stay inside the room apart from crashing for a few hours!
Its so beautiful!!! and the ban on geysers is interesting.. never heard of it before! but then, in such a place, who would really miss hot water! with the sea so close too!
Absolutely awesome! I would love to stay here, but outside and not inside, no matter how good the cottages look ๐
Me too want to go to Havelock so badly… ๐ ๐ ๐
