Evening Sky at Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, India

These days the sky in the city has been just one color mostly, Grey. And for the whole week I had been fretting what am I going to post for skywatch! But then I know I still have a few pictures in store from my Spiti trip in 2007. I wish I would go there again and this time I would pay proper attention to th sky, in 2007 all the sky pictures are incidental, I was not really aiming to capture it.

  1. I do know how you feel about the gray skies that never seem to leave!! We’ve had lots of those lately — interspersed with lovely blue ones, but they never stay around for very long! I do hope your new year is going well, Mridula! Have a beautiful weekend!

  2. That Kat, that is Pangong lake at Ladakh in the header.

Thanks Sylvia, I am having a good 2011 so far.

    Thanks Jidhu.

Thanks Rajesh, that is the evening sun making the clouds red.

Lakshmi I hope you do visit Spiti but only if you take care of your health first.

    Thanks Lady Fi.

I started my India travel blog, Travel Tales from India in 2005. In 2016 I realized Travel Tales from India and Abroad better reflected my writings. I love to walk and ride in metros around the world. I have not been everywhere, I am not even close, but it is on my list. I also quit my job as a professor in 2015, it was a happening year! I did a Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur ages ago!
